F30 wow!

Is there manual mode on the F30? One that allows you to control aperature, shutter and ISO?

No full manual (M), but there's Shutter priority and Aperture priority.
ISO is selectable from 100-3200.

I also went Taiwan recently and took some shots.
All EXIF info should be still in the file.
Some nite shots from the F30.
Only resized in photoshop.

Battery life is spectecular. Rated at more than 500 shots per full charge, I myself have shot 300 + shots without charging and still left 2 bars. Under Aperature and Shutter priority mode, A/S can be chosen and ISO can be selected from 100-3200. There's custom white balance and 6 (or is it 7? can't remember) other presets.

Only played with tone curve and a little sharpening. F30 images straight off camera are usually a little on the soft side.

one question abt the F30: when you are taking the video with this camera, can you zoom in during the filming? 'coz i know that during the filming the F11 cannot zoom in.....

Once U focused, and start filming, the focusing plane won't change also. So make sure u read up on hyperfocal distance 1st.

I saw my colleagues video clip shot by F30, nice and sharp, not pixelated on his LCD screen. He said when out to his TV, still pretty decent. I am quite surpised to see that kind of quality. Impressed.

It's alwayZ nice to hav video capability on a small compact digicam.

But if u take a lot of videos, get 1 with IS then, video not so jerky..
