Very strange man. I just called MS Colour this afternoon. A lady say it's Made in Japan. $599 + 1Gb card.

When I called Alan and Cathay@Marina - both say only Made in China. But Cathay@Peninsula say Made in Japan. $600 with 512Mb.

What does it say at the bottom of your F30 bro? Is it printed "Made in China"? And you got it from MS Colour@AMK?

Just for asking silly questions, just want to make sure.

some of the pics you guys took amazes me... have not seen a compact PnS deliver such great detail since weekh introduced LX1.....

but this is dirt cheap at $590...

i think i will go get one myself....

I just got my F30 yesterday at AP for $599 (GST incl.) with 1Gb "H" xD, mini-tripod, soft case and LCD protector.

Still exploring the features. But i'm impressed with it's low level of noise at high ISO. Even my wife commented on the good shots taken with only ambient indoor lightings.

Any tips to share from you guys?

I'm planning to go buy the F30 tomorrow!

I called MS and Florence quoted $599 for the 1gig xd card, leather case and tripod.

Seems like Alan Photo has a better deal so i'll probably go check it out.

One question for those who bought it from Alan Photo, is the screen protector in the package from Japan? What is its quality like?

So i guess $595 at Alan is the cheapest so far? Anyone has managed to get a better deal?

the jason guy is not a big fan of fujifilm.. i was sort of persuaded not to get the F30 when i was there.. think he's a big fan of Canon. Maybe i should have told him that my present DC is a canon S45. ;p
