F100FD Samples

Most 25mm lenses experiencing this pink bank problem especially shooting against strong light. I think some sort of lenses flare. My humble opinion.

Does that mean most wide-angle-capable PnS will exhibit this aberration?

Lately the latest models have experience it. It only happen when shooting towards the light. It just like some lenses flare and you need to change the location the flare is gone.

Did you actually view the photo on a monitor screen or just the cam lcd?

The 'pink' or magenta band you refered is not the pink band that everybody is talking about.[/QU,..,,,,,,,

after reading and seeing the pix in dpreview now i no more about the pinkish band. for the record, yes my F100fd has the same problem too when taking pix at low light, w/o flash at iso 800 and 1600 (that is the only 2 iso i tried). the pinkish band do show up on th pix when reivew on my pc monitor.

if someone can teach me how to post pix here, i'll be glad to show u the pix.

do F100fd comes with Shutter / Aperture Priority modes?
I saw at DP-review, it said "Yes" under the camera specification.
Considering getting one as backup camera.

Possible meh? Many ppl spectaculate A & S mode will just be in the nxt follow up camera tat is coming after F100fd.
