Camera probably on tripod. He hand hold the filter infront of the lens, while camera was taking the photo.

Are you sure? U don't need any filter to get that effect on f10, f11 or f30.

er just one issue here that I need clarification with.

dpreview.com says that the min shutter speed for the f11 is 3 secs, while some claim that it's 15 secs here. so which is which? :dunno:

Slowest shutter speed for F11 is 3 second indeed.

F30 can go down to 15 seconds for Shutter priority mode and Night mode with long exposure on

You threw us a ambiguous question. Let me try to answer.

For F30, depending on selected modes:-
1) mode dial at A/S and with shutter priority, min shutter is 3 sec. (user settable)
2) Night mode with LONG EXPOSURE setting set to OFF: 3 sec. (auto only)
3) Night mode with LONG EXPOSURE setting set to ON: 15 sec. (user settable)
4) Fireworks mode: 4 sec. (user settable)
5) Other than above, 1/4 sec. (auto only)

Any challenge? :bsmilie:

No probs. BTW, I jus realised today that printing a photo the end result is very different from what I see on screen. A printed photo can hide a lot of imperfections that we see on screen. Think F30 will be a wonderful camera, despite my reservations of its ISO3200 pics.
