Can lah ... just prioritize and save up for what you NEED.
It took me over 20 years of dreaming, and over 5 years of scrimping and saving, and working tons of extra assignments before I could afford to buy my first 'f/2.8' trinity member.
If it's any encouragement, brand new filters in their boxes can keep for an awfully long period!

If yes..... i must at least buy a Tamron 17-50f2.8.....don't wish to invest in Nikon 17-55f2.8 unless i sold off my 18-200VRII

Actually if you consider carefully, could two fast primes be more suitable for you? They will be noticeably faster (during actual use) and slightly sharper than a 702002.8 zoom.
At the end of the day, you have to carefully analyze your own needs and shooting situations. Perhaps try and borrow a 702002.8 for a performance or two and find out how it handles and how you like it's performance during an actual shoot.
If they're not paying you at least $100 - $150/hr, tell them you need to buy XYZ lense and get full reimbursement! :devil:
