I only remembered her being older n not as beautiful as what they want. I didnt know she has cancer.
She did, and she made it known that she was dying, and that all she wanted to do was to be happy and celebrate whatever life she had left.
It was all over the press ...
The most despicable part was, even after the hoo-haa started, and it made it big in the press, the owners and management still insisted that they were right to reject her because they had their 'standards' of fark to maintain, and only the young and beautiful were eligible.
Legally they were in the right, because we have no laws or no seemingly enforced laws protecting against discrimination. Don't ever grow old or get real sick in Singapore!
