saw some review of the new nikon 85mm f/1.4G like not so hot hor...:devil: time to come to the light...:bsmilie:
each has it's pro and cons... both are gd dslr systems...

The experience with 50mm f1.4G kinda give me a rough gauge of the AF speed and heard the CA issue still there. So, am not really keen on the new 85 since i already got the D.

Why that 0.2 such a big diff huh? :bsmilie:

but i have strong reason to change... can finally turn long exposure NR off. :bsmilie:

but not so soon.

:bsmilie: very soon pentax will come out with 100 megapixel with dynamic range of human eye...just need to wait only...

I won't be surprised if the image quality comes out better then d700 even it's not full frame, after all the camera about 2 years old already...technology moving very fast...

focal length longer bigger difference i guess... 50mm 1.4 & 1.2 quite similar... but on 85mm difference bigger... the lens design also make a difference la... bokeh smoother...

That will be interesting, but not next week la...can only take 1 day, still have work to do... Also have to seek permission from my gf :bsmilie: overnight sure black face :sweat: but think will be fun...we go recee then plan for the trip in future...

I camped there twice during poly days at an abandoned jetty, very beautiful night sky. But those were the younger days :bsmilie:

I used to overnight there very often durin my poly and army days, but I think the place is very diff now. One of my fav place to stay was abandoned jetty at OBS camp 1.
