The fourth threadtails is Orange-stripped Threadtail.

Ho ho ho holiday eve.
 

Good to ID the species out in the field, if not sometime might be difficult to ID when reach home. Another view of Collared Threadtails showing the blue strip marking run across the head, between the eyes, Interrupted Threadtail is just having 2 marks of blue instead of a strip.:)

I was deciding between the collared and crescent threadtail.
Lazy to open book so I use Tang's website for reference.
bcos not many obvious details can be seen from the image, that's why had some difficulty ID-ing the first two.

oh.... i know why. tang's image don't have famale collared threadtail. no wonder... :bsmilie:

Good to understand the subject we shoot, it will make us learn and understand more as we move on. Just like many avian shooters, they have to learn bird watching and bird call. :)

I don't bring my book out, but some of my friends do. Sometime taking a few record shots in different angle will help to identify the species.
 

If today weather is good, I go shoot sunset. :)
