Eh digital prints, somehow gloss looks better...

Lab prints, matt looks slightly better than gloss...

Yar lah, that's the hard part lor.... No INSTANT PREVIEW! Not confident leh. Dunno focus properly or not....Exposure right or not.... Do u take multiple shots of the same thing to like "play safe"??

i heard glossy prints cannot last long, but i dunno how true is that.

hahaha That's will be a good practice! Even now i use digital more of the time but i still shoot like i using Film Body ALways think before you shoot.

Yes, lab prints=print in photolab.

Digital prints are more like print from those more high-tech photocopiers and printing machines.

They typically look like this:

More basic looks like this:

Nowadays lab prints are actually oso considered digital lah. But the way the machine print is different. The media(paper) used oso different.

But for lab prints, I dunno how true is that too. But, gloss, if u want to retain the top gloss coat, need to keep properly. Cannot expose to sunlight arh, cannot expose to dust and whatnot....

For digital print, how long it last depends more on the ink, pigment or dye ink. Media, like I said above, want to retain the gloss coat, need to keep in the right conditions.

Kind of true, it important how you frame it or in the album cos it will stick to the frame and album if you get a not so good glass etc
