It's super hard for SLR to be like the GOOD GOLDEN days as digital age now is the trend, only those super purist.

Btw, do you know that Singapore used to have around 300++ photolabs but now not more than 100.

Yea, that one is super duper hard.... Unless people decide to go retro lor.... Just like in fashion.... But definitely not photographers go retro.... XMM goes retro maybe....

Anyway, anyone noticed, recently alot of XMM lugging DSLRs around taking photos(some may prefer to call it cam whore)....

These group of XMMs very funny lor. All dressed up machiam want to go party or shopping like that.... Then end up lug one big bulky camera all around to take street shots/landscape...:sweat:

I was at cityhall over the weekends and was quited amazed to see quite a few (small groups)of them...

she is sleeping la! she was knock down by a car before. Just happened at my blk (car park) and that moment she wa super freak out and dun allow any one to go near her then she was limping to her "home".

That why now you see her "shoulder" is protruded out.

Yes, the lab i been going become good friends. THat's what they told me.

YOu just think about it, do you print photos?

Not many people print photos these days, mainly just post online and creating web album.

Hardly got people doing my scale of printing :sweat: i mean those for self collections etc. Not those pro printing wedding shots for couple la.

today i was trying to take photo of the black win face kitten.. damn hard :sweat:

everytime he (i assume it's a he) sits down, i will squat down to take a photo of him... i squat down halfway he quickly stands up and walk towards me.. until i stand up. so this sequence repeat like 10 over times until he finally stops it. -_-"

but not bad, he now responds to my key sound HAHA and follows me around my void deck.

didnt see the pretty white kitten today.. wonder where she go to.

today i saw two super-natural cats........

just get the black cat exposure lor and not those surrounding, that's what i did for cat shots. Sometime i just use manual exposure for the desire exposures.

I used to go develope n print photos at my neighbourhood photo labs.

Eh, but now I dun really do prints outside. I got access to production machines, so usually I just print from those.... They r FREE! Can calibrate according to my preference oso;p

But the thing is these machines dun take the normal photopaper leh.... They at most can only take those coated paper.....

what he means is to focus your attention on exposing the black cat properly, i.e. you just blow out the surroundings, can have very nice effect.

leong does it sometimes, can be put to good use.

a way to do it is to just spot meter on the cat's fur near the eyes, then you can get a properly exposed cat, and blown out surroundings.
