I was rushing on Mon nite to prepare dinner ... was damned sleepy, and cut into about 1/2 cm from the edge of my fingertip. The incision went almost all the way through the flesh only stopped by my fingernail. Thank God I sharpened the knife. Oh, but the freshly ground black pepper chicken and kale with roasted red garlic was superb!

Actually it's not so bad, still hurts some, but mobility is hampered because I have to try and keep my hand/finger upright all the time. Most things take extra effort because of the extra caution needed to avoid wetting or banging my finger. YIKES OUCH-A-DOO-DOOH!!! _&~(#^%()~*#_)&~(#*^X*(P(&*(XXX_)X(&**&^%X&^Z)Z()Z(*^X Danged! I shouldn't have pried and lifted the hanging finger-tip at the doctors to show him the wound. He figured if I could do that, I didn't need pain killers. :angry:
But but but the worst part in all this is ... too bad it wasn't my middle finger that was cut! I have to walk around with my hand/finger perpetually pointed skyward remember? :devil:

I've been though worse. Of course nerves got hit, but no major nerve lah. Like I said, thank God I work with razor sharp knives, else it would hurt like being castrated with a blunt spoon.
My wife looked at me like 'Are you bloody MAD when I told her 'ok, when we get back I need you to peel the garlic because I can't use my left hand, and I'll do the sauteeing and bla bla bla' But it was worth it! YUM! YUM!
