At the moment the weather is very COOL (29C to 15C), also the HIGH season. I wore shorts and t shirt all the time I was there for New Year.

Sunday Night is great with Huge Pasa Malam, which covers 8 streets within the old city.

This year was great, had Pasa Malam across the road where I was staying, between Christmas and New Year, so every night something different and in NY Eve, the sky was filled with lanteens and of course fireworks.

Golfing there is cheap. Go up to the mountains, fun! The last time I was there, it was the coldest in decades. No one believed I went Chiangmai cos I was in my winter sweater.

I have been to Chiang Mai a long time before for school trip.

I remember got elephants.

Sescapes wise I'm not sure, can always check though. It's a nice, laidback place, that's what I remember.
