They missed out the challenge of incorporating dual card slots! But well, look, the print button is still there.

The images really look promising. To my Eyes for a 18 mp vs the 15 mp of 50D, at 3200 ISO 7D looks slightly better. This is great news for all crop sensor lovers!

If they improve the high ISO performance to be on par with 5D2, I'll be getting one.

iFCL Metering with 63 zone dual-layer metering sensor that utilizes AF and color information for optimizing exposure and image quality... How cool is that.

Looks promising. You realised the feature list just getting longer and longer with each new cameras...

I doubt it's same grip as 5DII since size of body is different and yes, 5DII is BG-E6 not E7.

The 7D uses the same grip as 5d2!!!!! it uses the LP-E6 batts too!

I think they really anticipate a lot of people will own both the 5D2 and this side by side ! Good move from Canon. Note from the press release, Canon had collected feedback from 5000 photographers on what they want in a camera. If this camera deliver to its promise, it had proven once that Canon do listen.

Im now Torn between getting the 7D or my UWA hahaha

so far this cam spec and price look great!

holy cow! Full weather-seal just like 1D! I'm definitely getting one to replace my 40D.

Now... should I lelong my 40D for $9.90?

paiseh... but where did you find the info about weather-seal? :dunno:

Time to change my 1000D! huge upgrade

I'm a nikon user, and I'm going to get this :)

hahaha...the macro with IS looks good. 2 stops even a 1.0x magnification...way crush the 105VR...

have to tell myself hard to keep the 50D and just buy the lens......

3 cheers for 7D!!! makes a nice X-mas gift for myself...:)

I love CANON

I doubt it's same grip as 5DII since size of body is different and yes, 5DII is BG-E6 not E7.

Now Canon is more smart is using different grips for different newer bodies. This way they force u to buy the grip.
