guys, after buying 5D II, did you or will you still buy back-up dslr?

if yes, what & why?

I just did, a refurbished 5D from Adorama. I wanted the quality that the 5D Classic has delivered since its release and only have that much money to afford another FF body.

Had a 40D but felt I need quality over speed (or FOV) so.... sold it for refurbished 5D - looks and smells new for USD$600 off the non-refurb set.

Waited so long for this! For those of you interested to get a screen protector that covers the whole screen, John 3:16 does it for $20. Customised from a PSP protector. Awesome worksmanship I must say.

1. If i capture both Raw and Jpeg, which format is shown on the LCD on playback?
2. If i delete the picture on the camera, will both the Raw and Jpeg files get deleted at the same time?

Hi guys,

I noticed a small light blue dot on my LCD, could this be a dead pixel? And everytime I switch on the LCD a blue line appears in a fraction of a sec., where the small dot is located. Is this normal or not? Thanks!

Please correct me, If i interpreted it inncorrectly.

1. It should shown the jpeg format.
2. It should be both will deleted from the CF card in the cam. it tag with same description, but in difference CR2 and jpg ending.

I didn't buy a back-up cam, but I kept my 5DC as back-up coz Murphy is always waiting around the corner especially during time critical work.

are you using v1 or v2? v2.3 can support 5DMkII... Get the Camera Raw 5.3...

Better get the EX270 flash,flash head can tilt 60,75 90 deg on the 5D MKII.
only the flash recycle rate a bit long .:bsmilie:

Just to interest to know more ,how the WFT-E4 for your application?
It that good for remote location shoots with laptop unit.
How the wireless set up with com,easy or tough?
As knew a battery serve the WFT unit, another battery will support the cam.
What the price you getting the unit?
How a fully charged battery serve for the WFT-E4?
Do it last ?

Afar i knew you have WFT-E4 with 5DMKII,Do share your view point here.
