Totally agree. Just tickles my feet on how the trigger-happy cripplers in Canon cut it close.
3.9fps.... amazing... I suppose giving 4fps would mean their souls will burn in hell?
VF is the next funniest thing... 5D=96%, 5Dm2=98%,... and I'd like to put up a bet up for what 5Dm3 will be... 98.5%? 98.8%, 99%, 99.95%?
I'm sure it will produce images of the superlative order, and that's the be all end all.
I really want to meet up with Canon's product spec designers. Really. Even more than I want to meet Big Foot, The Abominable Snowman, or ET...
What were you guys expecting? Built-in coffeemaker with condensed milk? Papparazi mode? 11 FPS? You guys are hilarious. LOL!
Oh wait...
3.9 fps?!?!?!?! W-T-F?!?!?!?!??!?! I hope the Canon guys responsible for this get ALMOST promoted, and ALMOST got a pay raise, and can ALMOST give their wives orgasm.
And the viewfinder coverage. 98%? Is it against the law to give 100%?
Just curious, that's all.

They probably got a yellow sticky note from 1D division GM that make sure 5DII don't have 100% viewfinder.
I see need for new computers (they recently announced new Cray supercomputers for home use) more HDDs and storage (Sandisk 32gb and cheap 1TB HDDs). These add up to a lot of waste of space and money if you are not using it for work. Those with money to burn is another story. :bsmilie:
(1) Large/Fine: Approx. 6.1MB (5616 x 3744 pixels)
(7) RAW: Approx. 25.8MB (5616 x 3744 pixels)
suddenly need larger CF cards liao.
my wallet is decidedly not happy with this development :bsmilie:
Exactly! What a bunch of corporate spineless douchebags.
To clarify, GREAT DSLR, THAT WILL PRODUCE SUPERLATIVE IMAGES!!! Kudos to Canon for that
But from a 5D owner's perspective, nothing really compelling to upgrade.
Peace!

I come from a different starting point, 30D to 5DII... That would be a quantum leap ! Credit card standing by...
Headlining the 5D Mark II is a 21.03 million image pixel full-frame CMOS sensor that is derived from the sensor in the EOS-1Ds Mark III, but with several improvements meant to improve shadow rendering and noise levels at all ISO settings.
