EOS 350D focusing

Hi all,

I have recently got a 2nd hand EOS350D camera. I found out that it is abit diffcult to get the auto focus to focus on my image when it is too dark, can anyone advise if this is normal and is there any way I can get it in focus without and problem when s/w to auto focus.

Because 350D does not have AF assist light so it will use its flash light to strobe.

1 way is to get a External flash that can fire AF assist beam.
