EM-10 Official! The OM-D for All!


Well... I'm an idiot. Decided about a week ago that I wanted this camera, and spent the next week researching everything about it and trying to find info on where the best place was to buy it. Little did I know about the roadshow at Vivo, or about shops like Cathayphoto or TK. Then today I stumble on this forum... aiya...

I assume the roadshow is now over, and the deal with accessories voucher, extended warranty, cooper bag, no longer applies. Is there somewhere where this deal is still available? or where is the cheapest place now to get this locally (w/ preferably some freebies). I know this has been covered in this forum, but trying to see if there are any updates on prices/goodies, now that the roadshow is over. If you can't post prices here, maybe a PM?

Also, I'm looking for a wraparound case for this camera, as small a case as possible, to fit just the camera and attached pancake lens (and maybe a spare battery). Any ideas?
 

Call up the shops in question and ask if they are willing to backdate the receipt for you if you pay in cash.
TK, SLRR, John 3:16, Cathay, MS Colour.

That's interesting, if my warranty is about to end can he issue a new receipt to a get another year of warranty?

Hiah , I expected someone to ask this sooner or later. I'll just say integrity bro. This one is pre-dating to an earlier date just 3 days earlier to help a bro collect free gifts so I'll help ; if it's about backdating to lengthen warranty I would just ignore the post like it's the plague.

But I'm sure Maldito won't do this la, I seen u around long enough here on clubsnap :)

I would love to have a backdated receipt for my Nokia 8810 which I still keep for memory sake :)
 

I've got some leftover BLS-1 batteries, can use them instead of getting another spare BLS-5?
 

i'm trying to login to the olympus store but the form will auto blank when i submit. anyone else have this issue?

Really interested to get the em10 together with the 25mm 1.8 lens. Are there any deals now? totally missed the launch as I just got into m43 recently.. May I know what price did you guys pay during the launch event? Thanks!

Prices overall won't be a big difference from launch till now. Around $1140 whereabouts for the 14-42EZ kit. Main diff will be the 1+2 yr warranty promo that has now ended.

Now a bit far from Oly's cutoff date and the shop also has ran out of EM10 stocks when the other bros dropped by beforehand.

Wouldn't say it's very do-able but u can always try. I PM u the shop and person to look for.
