Not sure if this helps but this is the size of the pancake. Btw, SCP is enabled by default on the EM10 so it's really good. I spent an hour trying to figure it out on the demo unit(I'm first time user to Oly and didn't understand why it kept appearing only in Auto mode) then we all realised someone must have messed around with it when I finally got my set and SCP appeared immediately.

Does the pancake lens come with the auto open/close cap?

I don't think so.

Another cool thing about the pancake lens is that it stats compact throughout when zooming. But another bad part is that it's zooms more slowly than when you actually manually turn the lens.

There's an option to change the zoom speed from normal to fast. Have u tried that? still slower than manual but useable.

erm, quite a lot of difference - even just based on price alone one EM1 body can buy u at least 2 EM10 bodies Jokes aside, EM10 is the entry OMD model while EM1 is the top OMD model. The size of the EM10 alone suggests that people may seek a pocketable casual model & that they wish to pair it with the smaller lenses while for EM-1, there are people using 4/3 lenses on it.

There's an updated ver of EM5 (called EM5 elite) that will be released soon.

If u r using the EM5 currently, what is it about the EM5 that u makes u wan to upgrade? The EM10 uses the same sensor as EM5, main diff in guts is that it uses the EM1 processor instead. EVF wise both EM5 and EM10 are very similar. Moving from EM5 to EM10 i will think the main advantages is for better wifi-controls, a more updated processor, an even more compact body, a built in flash and prob nothing much else.
