EM-10 Official! The OM-D for All!

Funny people complain about only having a 3 axis IBIS.
If you so desperately want the two more axis. Get the em5 or em1?

There's a reason why the em10 is cheaper right?

And I'm a gx7 user, the ibis is so much more than fine.

When will the camera be available?

I am using EPL5 and I do not have a problem with image shake.

Ah my bad, it's not the same ibis as the EPL5 but you just need to point that out to me and don't have to flame me right?

Anyway I have pre-ordered both colors with the new 25mm and the 14-42 zoom lens. Next time I should just test out the equipments thoroughly before making any comments here.

Guys, let's all relax and take a break ok? Relax, CNY still going on

Spidey no issues with being civil. But I will not stop correcting folks that don't even do the minimum of research before they post inaccuracies. In the internet age, it's very easy to say something like it's the truth when it's not. Hence my response to anyone who does this.. :)

That to me is fine, just don't go starting like "OI! ********************* WHY YOU NEVER DO RESEARCH BEFORE POSTING!", as long as we all talk like adults, I'm ok, but I agree with what you say, it is very simple to just go to google and search for specs

Some of my favorite images were taken with an OM-1 with zero-axis IBIS. :bsmilie:

When is the pre order?

Read somewhere, there is M-IS mode in video, to kick in electronic IS for large movement, such as walking while filming video...
Not a 5-axis though.

If I remember correctly, 3 of the IS is optical, 2 of the IS is electronic, so technically it's 5 axis IS, just not 5 axis optical or 5 axis electronic IS

Thanks to correct me. Ya, I meant not a VCM 5-axis. Cheers.

Just curious....not too sure if the electronic IS in E-M10 video is at which axis?
Or just help to "amplify' IS effect during video, especially Roll-axis?
Because just realised that E-M1 has M-IS mode in video also (E-M1 user can double confirm?)

VCM 5-axis (E-M5, E-M1,E-P5) - Pitch, Yaw, Roll, Vertical shift, Horizontal shift

VCM 3-axis (E-M10) - Pitch, Yaw, Roll.

Because I remember the another 2-axis (Vertical shift and horizontal shift ) will help in macro shooting...

Image stabilizer is VCM sensor-shift not optical.

Plus electronic vertical and horizontal IS for video.

Tripod is the best IS for macro photography and the in-camera IS is switch off for this purpose.
