I can guarantee u it's definitely worth every penny for the upgrade but u just missed the SITEX promotion. No need to waste time and $ to try it.
Any good software from Olympus to edit videos taken by this camera?
When I use windows movie maker, the top and bottom of video are cut off when I select wide screen. If I select non wide screen even worst, the sides are also cut off, and becomes a smaller tv within the screen. I mean all the top bottom left right become black, smaller video at the centre.

Any one has any links to Olympus viewer 3 tutorial? Beginning to play around with it but will be nice if I can have a "tutor" hee
Tried it. Easy to use, but I still prefer Lightroom 5.

But I read online ov3 can brings out details and oly colors better isit it? Maybe I should try editing using ps6 also
u can try camera rental centre. You may not get EM10 but they have the EM1, GX7 etc.

I am planning to use this camera to shoot video on a semi-pro mode. Thinking what lens should I use for short tele.
Is 14-42 kit lens good enough? I think the long end at f5.6 is too dark for low-light.
If I buy 12-40 fast lens, will it be too uncomfortable to use?
Can this camera attach external condenser mic and LED lighting?

14-42 good enough unless low light, but can bump up ISO, since people won't have time to focus on the noise, can actually push higher than the highest you would use for stills
Got to use grip or some form of rig, can be comfortable or not comfortable, completely up to you and how well you adapt
Yes, using 3.5mm jack microphones, but there's only 1 hotshoe mount, so got to find some other way of mounting or use them separately

I don't think there is any way of adding external mic to EM10 and what is "semi pro" mode?
The $998 with 2 lenses promo has ended. There will likely be one coming up for Chinese New Yr but no promises it's as good.

probably not in hurry to sell. Try post a wtb thread with your budget eg 450. Better than hunting around for sellers. IMHO.
