Need some advice. Facing some issues with my EM10 (bought on 27/02/2014). With the pancake zoom attached, the camera hung after I took a few shots using the LCD then switched over to the EVF. Tried 4 batteries and the results were the same for 3 of them, including the piece that came with the camera. What could be the issue? Anyone encountered this?
Ha ha. Also sd card with low speed useless unless big capacity like 32GB would be good. But 5 or 6 memory cards???? Why so many?IT show like to give you many many SD cards.. One of my friends went there and the salesman say cannot give you discount, but can give you more free things. So in the end he went home with like 5 or 6 memory cards (low speed type). Also don't know what he did with them in the end. :bsmilie:
Yes please send your camera to shop ASAP. It might be a deflected set.if you meaning of 'hung' meant it freezed , definitely bring it back to the shop(since it was only yesterday) or Oly Service Ctr. The camera lag when moving from LCD to EVF should be negligible to start with. Hope it gets resolved soon.

Yupz. The whole camera hung and shut down. But the lens did not retract. The lag from LCD to EVF is expected and does not really bother me. Haiz.... Maybe I got a lemon.
Ha ha ha. Btw, enjoy your recent toy-EM5.No idea.. Maybe collect enough can convert into SD card deck and use it to play blackjack. :bsmilie:

Yup , send it in. Try calling the shop first & see if they will do a exchange.
This happened to me once also. Using pancake lens. The camera hang. Lens cannot retract. Used on off switch to reset. But using 25 and 12-40 so far so good....
I couldn't use the on/off to reset. Had to remove the battery for a few minutes before putting it in again. This issue did not occur when I tried the 17/1.8 on the camera.
Yes, my apologies. I had to remove the battery to reset too. On off switch no use.
Can u elaborate step by step how the camera hangs? I see if I can duplicate it again on mine. If can duplicate then it may be sth more than a defective set.
I can't duplicate it with orig or 3rd party batt. Yeah u better go exchange. I'll continue to try on mine.
The Grip is available on olympus estore for redemption!!!!!
