I haven't been prowling amongst leaves and flowers for a while now but seeing your shoots make me think I ought to brave the cold winds and try my hand at insects again.

they are all original :bsmilie:

but i prefer the 3rd shot for the clarity as the dark background gives the pale subject more contrast

Nikon's Creative Lighting System is something like a portable flash setup consisting of multiple flash units. in this case only the built-in flash and SB800 is used, the former triggers the latter, which is placed at a more favourable/desirable postion

found the specie name at last, it should be Achaearanea veruculata according to this url http://www.usq.edu.au/spider/find/spiders/332.htm

apparently it's camouflaging in the lalang stalk, waiting to grab an unsuspecting prey
