is there a diff in kingston 512 MB CF card.

there is a price diff between best bargain ($92) and eastgear ($99) kingston 512MB CF card. went yesterday, packaging of CF card is diff. :think:

If I remember correclty, best bargain's are old slow CF.

Kingston has many different CF. The latest is orange and white sticker. Even then, you got to check the edge stamp on the CF card to determine the speed, b'cos diff batch uses different CF card by Toshiba etc.

If the edge stamp is THNCF512MCA, then it is one of the recent faster card.

Would these prices stay after Comex? It's been heartbreaking to see the original Lexar 40X came in at $470, then $379, and now $299. What if year end it goes to $259?
