If you're still not satisfied with the Konnoc Charger, you can opt for an Exchange of other Brands of Charger, Example: Sanyo, just top up the difference.

My colleague who bought the same konnoc charger with me on the same day also had the same problem. He went down to change (Think last week or the week before) and the problem still persists.
I used both the Konnoc batteries as well as Sanyo 2300 Batteries. Don't think it is the batteries problem as now they are working fine on my fujifilm charger.

No Problem, jus bring the Konnoc Charger and Batteries alone will be good.

Before we carry any Products, we run Stringent Test on it. We hope to get to the bottom of your above mention fault and get our Manufacture to improve on their QC.

Thank you for your committment to good services. I will drop by tomorrow.
I think you should really check with your supplier/manufacturer as it seems I am not the only one having this problem. ;)

Cheers

Thanks. Will do the exchange first and have another try to see if the problem persist. Btw, I just have to bring the charger alone ? The 4 batteries are working fine, so do I still need to bring them ?

"Kingston 2GB SD Ultimate Card (120x) @ SGD$259"

Any more discount from eastgear? :bsmilie:

Yes, I also had this prob.. Bought the same konnoc charger 2 weeks back. Seems like even the konnoc and even the sanyo batteries unable to do full charge at all. Had them run on my fuji s602z. None of them able to do more than 5 mins run. Now I had several dead batteries (according to the konnoc LCD). I also sianz.. Can I bring mine for exchange too? I really dun mind topping up for other brand.

think u should buy a battery tester as well... eastgear have it, just around the cashier...

my maha was dead, so i used an old charger to charge the batts, leave it on trickle charge, den i took 1 out, test on the tester, 3 bar, strange, should be fully charged rite... so i got a replacement adapter for maha, placed all 4 batts to the maha, test today morning... full bar... i guess not all charger can fully charge the 2000 to 2500mah AAs.

I just noticed that EASTGEAR no longer sells the KONNOC charger anymore! Wonder is it because of the often said problem of the charger not charging batteries fully.

Was told that the stock is not in yet when I went on this monday to change my problematic konnoc charger so I top up abit for the Sanyo charger instead.

Or that was a nicer way of telling us that the KONNOC is no longer available.

What is CompactDrive?

The CompactDrive is a hard disk based device that backups data (photos, video, documents etc.) from a memory card to the internal hard disk without the need for a computer or external power source. It is extremely useful for people like photographers who shoot a lot of digital photos but do not wish to buy multiple cards. With the CompactDrive, you can simply download the memory card data into the device and free up the card for more shots. At the end of the day, just connect the CompactDrive via USB to your computer to access the photos. A CompactDrive cost less than a tenth of the cheapest memory card of similar capacity, so why buy multiple memory cards when a CompactDrive is all you ever need.

  • Provides the ultimate battery convenience. Supports rechargeable NiMH (recommended) or alkaline AA cells. Carry spare batteries or buy Alkalines during emergencies.
  • The PD7X turns into an intelligent NiMH AA battery charger when connected to the mains via the provided AC adaptor. It takes approx. 9 hours to charge 4 pcs of 2500mAh batteries.
  • Using the latest 2500mAh NiMH AA batteries, the PD7X is able to backup up to 35GB of data on a single charge
  • Durable & lightweight aluminium casing with dust covers to protect the slots and PD7X from dust and hard knocks
  • Choose from available sizes of 20 to 100GB or just buy only the casing and install your own hard disk. Hard disk are user installable and reuseable.
  • PD7X can function as a high speed USB 2.0 portable hard disk as well as a 8-in-1 Memory Card Reader
  • Currently one of the world's fastest portable storage device at 4~5MB/s. Backup a 1GB card in less than 4 mins!
  • Supports CF Type I/II, MicroDrive, SD, MMC, MemoryStick, MS PRO, xD Picture Card. SmartMedia requires an optional SM-to-CF adaptor
  • 6 month warranty

Is this offer still on? Need to get one of these soon. Thanks a lot.

Dear East Gear,

You claim to want to be given a chance to serve us better. I believe there has been three (3) requests for price updates for the PD7X already. Why is there still no response from you people?

If you talk about service, then the response should be IMMEDIATE! Or at most within 24 hours!!!!!!!!!!

Please. A simple question: Still available or not. Is it so difficult to answer????
