I put my 17mm pancake on my E-PL2 and us a small Leica-type optical finder (or no finder) when I want it to be really pocketable. Don't know if I'll do that with my E-M5, since the EVF hump prevents it from downsizing to that extent.

How does the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL 17mm f2.8 on your OM-D?

Just got my silver today. Was using viewfinder to take shots then when SuperControl came on, couldn't use the touch screen to chose the options. Then tried to compose shots in LCD but they appear black!!! Totally freak out. Till I press the preview button on the EVF then image start to appear on LCD. Also most settings in menu are grey out.

Is this behaviour normal for a new set? Or we just need to adjust them out of the box?

Are you first one using Olympus camera?
You may not use to the function.
Try to read the menu first.

I only had the EPL-1 previously. But I remember the options settings are all open up already by default...

But again this is a totally new beast compare to that.

Well that's what I worry abt, that is its not totally new although stickers are there. Maybe someone found a problem with it and did not purchase it finally.
