Oh! Spare BATTERY! LOL... :bsmilie:
Might get a second one, too (silver, i.e.). Or wait for the next OM-D. Hmm...
Errr.....quite a costly way to get a spare battery tho'.....hehehe

I've ordered a silver body, but now I'm a bit hesitated for the following reasons:
1. I've beening in love w/ my G3 for over 6mths, and still love it. IQ is good enough for me, and I do think it got some better (IMO) features over OMD (bigger viewfinder, articulating screen, simpler menu system, built-in flash, 90g lighter, easier to turn on/off w/ one hand, no rattle sound w/ 25/1.4 lens, and etc.)
2. I'm a bit worried about the viewfinder cup of OM-D, and those small covers for the flash socket. Heard those are easy to come off or lose?
3. The buttons are too small on OM-D, some buttons are hard to reach or press. There is no indicators on the four way buttons other than arrows. On G3 (and my Pentax dSLR cameras) there are dedicated functions for these four way buttons which I quite like to use.
4. The rear e-dial is a bit too high and too far to reach easily, have to move thumb a bit.
5. The on/off button isn't easy to reach when holding the camera w/ one hand (I loved the experience when I took photos w/ G3 when cycling in Beijing)
I know it's a good camera w/ better IQ (especially in JPG) and better white balance under certain light condition. WR isn't a must for me due to lack of WR lenses (I love it on my Pentax though), IBIS isn't that useful when shooting kids (which I do the most w/ G3 anyway).
I might still get the OM-D eventually (if I can't cancel the order), but probably would keep G3 between these two...
If you haven't paid yet, I would be happy to take on that orderlet me know...

Eh? I thought Fuji had the best color?
Apparently not by any far shot

I am also beginning to note this. But still cant pinpoint the issue - but i note that nowadays for scenes with HUGE contrasts, i find myself doing a lot more PP for pics from the E-M5 as compared to pics from my Canon 7D. Maybe its time for me to go M mode hahaha and learn photography all over.
Question: How do you meter the EM-5? The camera has a habit of metering for shadows and the highlights can be tad overblown.

Usually i half shutter to AEL the scene I want before shoot for high DR situations. And with EM5, i turn Gradation to Auto, it used to be this setting will bump up the shadows with some noise (even at lowest ISO) on previous Pens which I dun like & I turn it to normal, it helps increase DR. On EM5 seems to be better, at least yet to see a picture that's gone that wrong. alternatively, -1/3 EV if you feel it's a concern? On previous Pen, blown highlights are even more common. Hope that helps.
i just got my silver omd, something is different from the black one. i think i didn't set the settings correctly.
when i put Fn1 as magnify, in the past i can focus in x14 magnification,
but now whenever i half press the shutter it goes back to normal magnification.
anyone knows how to troubleshoot this? Thanks!
