Hi I m newbies too and just got dry box for my dslr and lenses
When store in dry do we open the covers for dslr and lenses at full extent without cover ?
Or
With dslr with cover and lenses fully retracted with cover on?

Just put the camera and lenses into the box. No need to detach or anything.

not too sure on this since haven't experienced this (knock wood)....:)
if lens got fungus maybe bring to service centre for cleaning...

I have a few 1950s camera that came with real leather casings, so i make a point to remove them as well as other organic materials after used.
I set my dry-cabi at 40-50 RH.
Extra can of silica-gel in there in case the drycabi down, which give buffer time for RMA etc.
I also avoid putting foam and other plastic fume-releasable materials, which others have experience that the fume will overtime build up in the lenses.

Fungus will NOT be cured just by placing inside the drycabi, and still a great risk that the fungus will continue to grow even slowly.

Try to keep dust away from dry-cabi too, avoid dirty hands/fingers, always clean hands before handling/taking photo equipment in/out.
