I have a few 1950s camera that came with real leather casings, so i make a point to remove them as well as other organic materials after used.
I set my dry-cabi at 40-50 RH.
Extra can of silica-gel in there in case the drycabi down, which give buffer time for RMA etc.
I also avoid putting foam and other plastic fume-releasable materials, which others have experience that the fume will overtime build up in the lenses.
Fungus will NOT be cured just by placing inside the drycabi, and still a great risk that the fungus will continue to grow even slowly.
Try to keep dust away from dry-cabi too, avoid dirty hands/fingers, always clean hands before handling/taking photo equipment in/out.
