theRenaissance said:That is a hard question to answer. You will have to ask yourself this question. Do you feel the streets and the people? Do you mind immersing yourself in a culture and feel how they feel? Do not think too much about which lens is able or not. Gear is good, but Vision is better. Shoot with your heart and I am sure you will be able to achieve great images.
Pre-visualize and creative imagery does help when shooting, look, feel and listen. Dont worry about kit lens, I myself used my 18-105 and created some nice shots for myself. Man behind the camera is more important relative to gear.
For post processing part you may want to check The Digital darkroom section of clubsnap and google for tutorials. There are tons, all you need is just a little initiative and hardwork and i am sure you will be on your way. Thanks for your compliments.
I agree, gear does play a part but prob 10% imho.
If people back then could shoot bare basics, I dont see why one cant shoot well these days!
There is a thread here shot by LX5, some good pics.
I've taken a couple of interesting pics with my compact GRD III as well.
Chase less gear, shoot more, jumping from system like canon to nikon like some in CS do is not gonna help when the problem lies within one self.
Okok enough from me, sorry bro too much talking in your thread....
Lol
great stuff bro! Keep them coming!
