Do you guys carry tripod around all the time?

but if I'm travelling overseas, I cannot bring my tripod

Maybe I'll have to buy another one for Singapore use when I'm there! hor hor hor - then I get to bring back more toys~! ahaahaaaaa

I rarely use my tripod also. Unless doing night shots, macro shots, etc. Otherwise, very "din-teh".

Sometimes I'll bring along monopod. But more often I'll use it to scare away dogs when I go exploring ulu places.

it's best to have one.. i tried to.. if i know i want iso100 >f16 but had 1/15 that day..

when i read a photography book few days ago, i notice that most landscape is taken like less than 1/50s..or lower, I notice that one of the reason the photo in that book is taken by 50ASA slide..so with large aperture number, and tripod is needed..

and i start to think maybe i should get a good stable tripod? i am using velbon cx444, i don't know is it good?

any trip can lower down till a flower height? i think most tripods have a body stick that can't be removed..

hook a weight at the centre column of the tripod for stability & use a gear head for maximum sercurity rather than a ball or pan-tilt head.

hmm... my slik pro 400 dx can have the centre body stick removed... but i never do that..
