Do you choose to print matte or glossy?

i prefer matte
although glossy is nice,it tends to stick

ok, here's the question after reading all the pros and cons of matte and glossy photo.

What is the difference in picture outlook when u place a piece of thin glass over a matte photo and comparing it with a glossy photo of the same picture?:think:

Is it better or same or not as good? :think:

Hi, for wedding photo, I use matte with glass frame. For ordinary photos which I don,t value
to show around, I use glossy.

agree. prefer matte. easier for handling.

Image appears sharper and black are deeper comparing glossy with semi-gloss satin/matte.
Depends on mood, artistic stuff I prefer to print on Matte/Satin.

they dun stick together unless i stack em up
and keep them for a long period
then they'll stick

Glossy to have instant "WOW" which dies off after a while.

It is not true the matt finish will last longer. It really depends on the chemical and print quality.

I actually have my Europe vacations photo on glossy which still lasted longer than my honeymoon photo printed on matt. The lab and papers used are different.

The same reason why most Mac users prefer matte to glossy screen.

I will print in matt unless request by client. I think that matt last longer too.
