See before. You would like to take the lead with your Lx3? :bsmilie: For me, unless I'm certain I don't need to re-sell the body for any possible future upgrade... anything's possible. ;)

no la... I wouldn't purposely do it... but that guy put it through so much crap in order to get the shots he wanted mah...
Just goes to show that it's not necessary to go "OMFG!!! There's a speck of dust on my lens!!!!" :D

1st time seeing such nice camera!

well done nikon ! :)

hahaha I'm sure the Canon 1d series cameras are equally well-built.
When I read that post, I just couldn't help but feel that too many people treat the DSLR like it's made of tofu...
you get people saying things like
"after coming back from overseas must send the camera for full service..."

Not quite right. It should be no more zooming with your wrist but now you will be zooming with your whole self with the camera. ;p

Wah Lau bro. Wrong channel la you.
I made that comment with regards to no zoom ring on the lens, so less chance of dust going in :)

Hahahaha ok :)
Anyway I just disturb you only.

how this for a mount? comments?

ps. click pic for link

woah... so it's a lens mount? Then to rotate from portrait to landscape (and vice versa) requires loosening the collar that's holding on to the lens?

I feel that it's quite specific and not so practical for everyday applications. Don't think it can replace the regular ballhead, but supplement it for pano purposes.
For camera without vertical grip, the lens is much closer to the base of the camera, so that lens clamping ring might interfere with regular tripod mount.
