Bitez is heading over to California with her hubs this year end... I talked her into Oregon during the fish head curry session... 20+ day holiday leh! Enough to cover entire Oregon in 7-8 days! And she asked about crater lake earlier... so I googled...
20+ days.. sure very shiok lo.. i must also save up money and fly overseas for the first time someday! ;)

we were poor students back then. No... never try.

But I was never too crazy about looking for good seafood when touring US...

I live a stone's throw away from Santa Cruz, Monterey, and Half Moon Bay...

Just to give you an idea, this is why I caught when I went to half moon bay

:bsmilie: Bro, you kept talking how to listen??
he can share with us during the bmw world or during the studio shoot.. : D

than u shld be looking at the pentax 645D....

You're trying to sucker him into MF isit?? :bsmilie::bsmilie:

The lens leh?

The other than the sensor, other specs of this camera looks like a D200 era. It should be a pretty capable camera but the bracket of market it suppose to occupy, it is kinda disappointing.

Nonetheless, it should be a fantastic landscape camera. imagine zooming into the photo at 200-300% and it still looks sharp.

I think you're still in you mama's bossoms when we were travelling... Digital cams are pretty new back then... somemore very low res ones... First Nikon DSLR.. I think it was 97 or 98... EX like mad!...

I just wonder for a loud. Having a camera with 2-3 times higher dynamic range when compare to the other. How is this advantages? No need for GND?

Bro, besides Yosemite, Golden bridge, Coastal beaches, LA/SF is pretty much a city-scape right?

Maybe we can help Bitez coordinate her "attacks" on the Calif / Oregon areas...

March is a great time to travel in the states - spring time, flowers blooming, snows melting... great for driving and fresh air!

Cityscape? are you kidding...

Highway 1 from SF and LA is just natural landscape after landscape non-stop. Will last thousands of sunrise shooting.

I miss the Monterey Coast so much.
Should go there with the low US$ nowadays.
