120-300/2.8 might be suitable as far as focal range is concerned, but I dunno if it meets your standards for stability and IQ

120-300/2.8 might be suitable as far as focal range is concerned, but I dunno if it meets your standards for stability and IQ

was abt to say the same thing, u sure u wanna consider the os version of the 120-300, thats will likely cost almost twice of the 70-200 vrII..... might as well save a bit more and hoot the 200-400, current hk pricing below 10k...:devil::devil:

yeap the old brand new pricing used to be below 4k, now a second hand set going arnd almost 4k... sigma price hike.... and thats was for the non os version...the last time i check abt a month ago or so.... look at the latest os lenses from sigma, the pricing is so steep, that one might fall by just looking at it...

i'm still in shock that the Sigma 120-300 is so expensive

hes more into motorsport, thats why hes gunning for a 2.8 telephoto, to clear the fences... but

those lenses at that range with a f2.8 aperture is d@mn expensive.
maybe can save the money and pay for a ticket in Malaysia F1. No fence and restriction of lenses used.

well most of us here are family-man, im sure he has put his thoughts and check his finances well before spending that huge amount, save for me been contemplating on getting the 200-400 for almost a year and yet i still wait out for it... hoping some one give that lens to me...
