haven't seen the ad yet...on dpreview oly forum, they are reporting that B&H has informed those who have ordered the E620 that there is a delay and their stock will only arrive 30 Apr. maybe the demand in Japan and China is very high?

don't rush to order one, although Olympus products has worldwide warranty, its usually a good idea to get a local set. it can be a long and tiring process to get an insurance claim for items damaged during freight.

Have you guys (and gals) seen the new Nikon D5000 with the articulating LCD? In my opinion, compared to the E-620, the Nikon's implementation of the LCD is less ideal, and in fact, looking at the whole package, I think the Nikon is one ugly camera! Not sure how it happens, but somehow the E-620 looks a lot more visually appealing when you put the 2 side-by-side.

1 question how to make use of the LCD when u wanna self portrait using tripod or putting it on the table?

Hopefully the new entries by Nikon and Canon will drive prices down

But yeah I agree that the tilt screen on the Nikon looks weird IMO, and the camera's heavy as well!

Nope. I guess it jus arrive. Price tag wasn't even up and i have to ask the sales staff who had no idea on the retail price initially. Better chk with local cam shop... usually 1-2 hundred cheaper...

some mentioned in dpreview, AF still E3 faster... however the diff is not significant

swd work on e30...it should work for e620 .
