If I'm not wrong panasonic doesnt have a weather sealed body but they still made the 12-35 weather sealed not to complement em5 but to anticipate the upcoming GH3 which will be weather sealed as well... just my thoughts:think:

There was a thread about a trinity of zooms. You already have the 7-14. Just buy the 12-35 then you just need the 35-100. Then all done

How fast is the AF of this Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 compare to Olympus 12mm f/2? How is the sharpness as well?

Using the ibis of em5. Not sure which is better but less of a hassle for me when I switch lens. Cause some of my lens no OIS.

that explain some store has stock, some store run out of stock.

I understand there is an initial frenzy for this new lens and demand outstrips supply. How long does it take a for a lens price to stabilize (if it even works thsi way) ?

On the other hand, the Pany 25mm is always in demand and always out of stock, despite being on the market since late 2010.

Cathay Photo send me an e-quote of $1425 before GST (after GST is $1525), but subject to stock availability.
Hopefully the price will stabilise once stock is plentiful.
