Just got mine from msc.

This is the lens to make me stay with m4/3 for a long time.

Agreed. This is one quality lens.

Got the last piece from Cathay Photo.

Very solid built, smooth zoom and smooth focus ring.

Initial impression of the image quality looks as sharp as my pana 20mm f1.7 on OM-D screen.

A little down side is now my OM-D is front heavy.

Just one point. I've read on dpr forums that there a very slight click as you zoom from 12 to 14mm. I tried my copy of the lens and I hear it. How about the rest who bought the lens? Is this normal?

Got mine at noon. Will try it out next few days.

Put my ear next to the lens and zoom in and out a couple of times ... Could not hear any clicks so far.

From 12mm you slowly turnzoom ring until it passes the 14 mm mark on the lens.. Do you hear anything ? Must be slow. Fast cannot hear.

Just rechecked. The sound is a faint clunk rather than a click. Its the same sound you hear from the lens when you power up the camera. This is on both my GH2 and GF3. For E-M5 users, the hum the camera makes may mask the sound. So I'm asking for panny owners. The same sound on powering up the lens is again faintly audible when you zoom from 12-14mm..

Ok. Tried again following your directions. Turn slowly and get a cluck too. But only for the 1st time it passes 14. The next rotation does not produce any more clucks. Need to power down and on again to get it to cluck again.

Not sure what sound the cluck is. Not likely to be OIS since its off on my EM5.

Someone on dpr thinks its to do with the aperture blades. Well if it's not only me then it seems to be a normal feature of the lens :). Thanks!!

Yes. Same as mine too when turning from 12-14mm
When turning the opposite, there is also a click sound when it hit the 25mm and 18mm mark.
These only happens when power on.

Limited worldwide warranty from HK means?
Valid in Singapore?

There was a post by zan82 last year around nov/dec. it means that in Hk there is official Hk sets that carry limited warranty that you can then service in sg. There are also sets with warranty limited to Hk n china only. Will try to search for that post once I'm home. Btw zan82 works for panny. To those that don't know.

Yah...I checked out on this worldwide warranty before I bought the 12-35 in HK. Just needed the peace of mind although lenses rarely give problems. But if your set if bought from overseas have ww warranty, you should read the fine print to make sure that there is coverage in Singapore.

just bought it from song bros sls, if anyone want buy it they still have few set left.
