lol photoshop is really useful to save the colours but if the original pic has poor composition no amount of pp can save it.Well you could add lots of effects in the pic and call it abstract ;p
Yaya i know u pentax supporter and take fantastic landscapes:thumbsup:
as for pentax taking over singapore:think:
hahaha yes, was talking about colour
to me most of the time digital gives pretty dull colour anyways
maybe i need to use expensive lenses =D =D =D
If u hobbyist, u have plenty of time to tweak the colours. But if u are a professional, can u imagine u have to tweak few hundreds or thousands every week. Hence, lens is still an important component of photography.
And pls dun tell me the person behind the camera theory. That theory is just as good as the equipment whore theory. Both are extreme views. It is a combination of various factors that produce a good photos. My 2 cents.

are you sure the professionals tweak so slowly
i remember ansel adams always tweaked all his photos in the darkroom individually
depends on what sort of professional you are, i guess
i'm not sure about the industry, so won't comment
yes, definitely a balanced view is best
with better equipment you can achieve MORE, that is undeniable
but with less equipment, you still can achieve something, that is my point
the person usually tends to limit the camera more than the camera limits the person
when it's free for all
unless you're talking about executing a preconceived concept
then that would depend =)
