i didn't want to post this one cos i really didn't like the way it turned out... however, it serves as a good illustration of the limitations of a "normal" macro. this one is taken with the samsung d-xenon 100mm macro. its a clone of the pentax d-fa 100mm macro made by hoya for samsung.

u see the red octagon shape at the top right hand corner? THAT would NOT happen with a 100mm WR under identical conditions. why? rounded aperture blades! :mad2:
