Who says the FA 77mm can't focus at close range?
Of course it can, I've done it.

Of course what we ought to be talking about is the maximum magnification.
The FA 77mm is a short telephoto and not originally designed with macro in mind, so it only goes to 0.14x magnification. However FA 77mm users can achieve higher magnification ratios by using supplementary close-up lenses, extension tubes or reverse rings... or by cropping.
The DFA 100mm f/2.8 Macro WR is a true macro lens, allowing 1x magnification (1:1 or lifesize) of the subject. Moreover it is flat field corrected, which allows even center to edge image sharpness, useful when copying or shooting flat objects.
Ah... ic.. learning new stuff each day.. ^^
Hmm... that's make of buying the FA77mm instead of the 100mm WR :sweatsm:
How much longer must i Save for it!!
