Hopefully, I can meet some Leica lens users as recently I am importing my first Leica vintage lens into Singapore. I would like to know any difference between 60 year old lens and newly manufactured lens.

There is. Resolution-wise. But you know what... the contrast of the vintage Leica lens (especially when shot in black and white) are to die for. I personally am a big big big big fan of the vintage Leica lenses. I don't really care much about resolution, but contrast and color reproduction is everything in my photography.

Let's talk more at the gathering. Bring an adapter. I might buy a lens or two off you if you are importing for sales. I used to hunt for them Leicas in Taiwan because they are in abundance and they are well maintained, and not to mention reasonably priced. That is why I love Bo Ai Road in Taipei.

I'm sure it can, if u dun need the tilt screen. It's really small that u want to bring it out all the time. Plus the smallish kit is no slouch. Xx

It depends on mood, laziness, and need of DOF, haha. GR is a little slow for kids action and DOF, but brilliant otherwise, especially portability

Yeah! Taking photo in monochrome with vintage Leica Lenses is not about resolution. I hunt for those lenses off ebay anyway. I am not a reseller. Hahaha!

If you are coming, you should bring an iPad with some of the monochrome photos to share with the folks. It is about seeing to believe. I love those vintage Leica lenses.

Hmm , your aim ?
I tried before for the EP5 and they don feel exactly the same too. For example the one at Oly Ctr has a 'clearer' half press than my current set.
