Just dropped by Challenger today. Saw that the D90's price is $1800 (members) and $1888 (non-members). It comes only with a 4gb Kingston SD and a (ugly!!) Nikon bag. Totally not worth it.

bro, challenger selling price is slightly higher than those shop like John and Alan photo. Two days ago, John qouate me $1680 with kit len 18-105mm and $1380 for body only.

just came back from John 3:16. all i can say is: that shop sure knows the true meaning of quality customer service. very impressed with them! here's my experience:

went in the shop (crowded as usual) asked for the price of the d90 kit + 4gb sd card. the price was $1660. then i asked him what is the brand of the sd card, he said sandisk. he also said that if i top-up an extra $10 he will give me an 8gb sandisk sd card instead of the 4gb. so i said fine, i'll top-up and upgrade.

then he took out a new d90 set, assembled it and let me try it. try already, everything ok then i told him i also wanna get a blower ($15) and a lenspen ($15). so he got all the accessories i wanted, put it on the counter, then i noticed that the sd card was kingston, not the sandisk that he quoted me earlier. so i politely asked him about it. realising his mistake, he apologised profusely to me and it was an honest apology. i doubt he meant any harm by it. he decided to make it up to me by giving me 2 4gb sd kingston cards instead. i felt kinda bad though .

All of them were very polite. they joked around with you and they treat you like an old friend. you will never feel like an outsider there.so i got everything for $1700.

Zoom in, Which means you might have to stand further away. Big aperture, and focus. you'll see the effect.
