:):sweatsm:

Let me do the math

Usually a D90 18-105 kit @$1650-1680 includes 4GB SDHC + card reader (AP, MS)

BARGAIN CITY PRICE $1879

- FREE Sandisk Ultra II 8 Gb SDHC card-----------+32
- FREE Extra 4 Gb SDHC card (from Nikon)---------free
- FREE Nikon Case-------------------------------+40?
- FREE SDHC Card Reader-------------------------free
- FREE Extra Compatible Battery------------------+30
- FREE Digicabi DB036L Dry Cabinet---------------+110
- FREE LCD Protector-----------------------------+5
- FREE Cleaning Kit-------------------------------+8?

1650+32+40+30+110+5+10= $1875

If you buy from Bargaincity you don't get customer support, not even a have chance to try the camera (ie. check for hot pixel, etc)

IMHO get your camera from the recommended shops here at CS. You'll get the benefit of examining the camera and get some "CUSTOMER SERVICE" from the seller. Although it is only John 3:16 who provides good service.:what:

Put the Lens cap on. Set the mode to [M]anual, with the ISO as high as possibe (ie. 6400).Take one image with a long exposure time around 1 second or more (stuck pixels stay the same no matter the exposure time while hot pixels become more visible when the exposure time increases due to increased leakage). Many camera have a process called "NOISE REDUCTION NR' when taking images above a certain exposure time (usually 1 to 15 seconds). Make sure this mode doesn't kick in or it will remove the defective pixels.
You will of course get black image. This is best viewed upon importing your image to a PC. From that image try to zoom in and look for white, red or blue spots. If you can find two or three..well it should be acceptable. Anything more than that should be returned the seller or you'll end up with the burden of getting it mapped out at SERVICE CENTERS. Normally NSC will need about two weeks to mapped it out then you'll end up without a camera during that period of time.

one example below

Hope this helps

Don't buy from IT Show? I thought usually during these shows, there will be better deals and freebies? hmm...So where would be a better place to get cameras at reasonable prices then? :D Btw, I wanna ask a question - the lens for D90 is it interchangeable? Sorry, if I sound stupid here coz haven't gotten the time to check out. :embrass:
