Don't kan cheong. I also like u. Kan cheong. Den end up camera in my hands, manual on my lap. Read n explore at the same time. Haha. Anyway i bought a cheapo CPL filter for $18. Haven't used it yet. Only used my ND4 so far. Haha
Too cheap a filter doesn't necessarily mean it is a good decision as well... FYI.
I know. I'm not saying tt its good. The point was tt it hasn't been used yet. Sry for not makin tt clear.
Anyway, i noticed tt my flash now fires off only after my AF assist illuminator lights up for abt 1 or 2 secs. For example, i acquire a subject, Af illuminator lights up n focuses, shutter button down all the way, af illuminator lights up for abt 1-2 secs then the flash fires. I didn't take note of this last time, but I think it wasn't like this all the way? Can anyone enlighten me?
Sounds normal to me.
It wont affect ur pics mah.. Have to live with it, i wil be more concerned if its in my sensor..
If it really bothers u, guess need to send to NSC for cleaning (some delicate work requried in removing the viewfinder so better leave it to the techs there)
nah can live with it lah! haha just got a shock i thought what was it at first.
anyway just to ask to the more experienced users of D90 here :
Bulb mode cannot use wireless remote ML-3 to trigger? i press then the shutter open. but cannot close. must off my camera then it'll close. -_-
I prefer 45 degrees so that the panning knob and the main tension knob are not too far apart. I would have the tension knob to my left and the panning knob would be 45 degrees toward me and to the side, instead of directly toward my face (and neck) when trying to compose.
edit: I must check if mine is 90 degrees or not.. If 90 then suck thumb lorMight have to turn the tension knob slightly more forward so that the panning knob is not near my neck.
coupled with PC-40N ??Today, I've started using my tripod already...![]()

This 8 hours first charge is a real joke.
Anyway by the time you read this, your battery would have been fully charged.
The charger stops charging once the 'fully charged' voltage has been reached. This probably takes a couple of hours if the battery is totally flat. So the remaining 6 hours (of the 8 hour charge) is wasted, just staring at the charger doing absolutely nothing.
When I buy any new electrical device, the salesperson would always say "first time let it charge ___ hours" to which I'd reply "show me documented proof that explains why I must do so", and I get a blank stare.... :bsmilie:
coupled with PC-40N ??![]()
well done!Nope, I went "old school"... :bsmilie: Nah, just walked into TK in the late morning, grabbed the red-headed T and walked out (fully paid of course)... then head right into the midst of mobile columns and started the baptism of fire...
...felt that on cam LCD my shots are true to the scene when taken with sRGB colorspace compared to adobe RGB, anyone uses adobe RGB instead of sRGB?
LOL! I charge 10 hours in fact. I didn't knowI can't remember where I read online but they were talking about letting it charge 8 hours to maximise the full capacity of the battery. Otherwise we'll lost about 5-10% of the battery =/
IIRC the manual actually inform you to charge 2hr 15min. Li-ION battery don't need to over charge to 'warm up' the battery.
