ML-L3. Only problem is if someone else is also using the same remote, it will fire your cam if both of you are nearby. But chances are rare. Can cosider the wired one. Chk out the link I gave you? You can go down to the shop & take a look ;)

Okie. Thank you. Can u help
me with the cleaning sensor
thingy.
I set my D90 sensor cleaning program to start/shutdown clean, after setting it i on and off it to see if it cleans. But I not sure abt it as it didn't say any cleaning in progress. Unlike canon 50D it will. Please verify. thank you.

1-week old, my 2nd hand D90... :)

haha. welcome ah... ;) how come sold off your old cam? iirc u were using d80?

Congrats!! :)

where did your D80 go?

hehehe selling off my D80 kit and buying the D90 body only involved an additional outlay of about $150, which I felt was worthwhile.
I really like the 3" LCD with the info display, and more customisable WB when shooting in JPG.
Not forgetting the cleaner images at high ISOs.

Now kena poisoned to upgrade ballhead... :D

It is good to replace self-timer. But the camera will turn off the remote sensor after the short preset period (max. of 5mins?) of time. Not very practical for shots that require a long waiting period. Have to reset the remote on the camera a few times during one of those occasions, before I got the wired cord.

I got the wire cord too - but one thing for sure... there is no delay for the mirror slap if you use the remote cord... ML-L3 does allow one second delay after the mirror slaps up before opening the aperture. That one second allows the mirror slap vibration to disperse as much as possible.

In my opinion, do not completely discredit ML-L3 - that is one strong point against the MC-DC2 cord... (I have both, btw)

P/S: D90 does not have the mirror-lift option apart for strictly cleaning purpose...

Withdrew cash to buy D90 body.
Sold D80 kit for cash. So with cash in hand, the BBB virus strikes!

hmm, spotted like some dust particles in my view finder. is there anyway to manually remove it?

If dust is on the external glass of the viewfinder just blow from behind.
If dust is on the focusing screen, you gotta remove lens and blow upwards to the focusing screen.

blow with blower hor, not mouth :D

*clap clap clap clap* :bsmilie:

Thinking of that also, but looking at Photo Clam as well - PC40NS (bigger ball - 40mm, bigger load - as an insurance), an in-between size between Q3E and M10.

It wont affect ur pics mah.. Have to live with it, i wil be more concerned if its in my sensor..

If it really bothers u, guess need to send to NSC for cleaning (some delicate work requried in removing the viewfinder so better leave it to the techs there)
