Please advise me , is it necessary to buy UWA lens or just go with kit lens.

Not necessary if not sure , stick with the kit lens, as u progress , sooner or later u might or might not need the UWA, jus from my point of view,

The 18-105mm VR is a good enough for a start play with it have a feel before u move to the next lens. Next lens will be a prime lens 50mm f1.8 than the 18-200mm VRII does everything; if you get it. Enjoy

i jus from a dry cabinet ytd. How long can i put my D90 into the cabinet & seems like the RH not stable yet.

which brand of dry cabinet you get?

if using Digi-Cabi one, set between 12-2 o'clock position equivalent to 40~55% RH, need 4~8 hours or more to stabilise.

Congrats to both of ya!!! I've bought mine about a week ago and I'm pushing the limits of the shutters already! :bsmilie: Tried all the A, S, and M modes already. I must say the more you shoot the more you'll love the abilities of the cam! :bsmilie:

Brought my friend over the OP yesterday and poisoned him to get the D90 with 18-105 lens. Paid $1,500 for it and with 1pcs 8gb card

i set my digi cab 30L and turn the knob to 12-2 o'clock the RH is @ 60+. do i have to keep set it to 40+ or let it auto adjust? i keep turning the knob every 30mins.

after you adjusted, leave the knob at that position and don't keep open/close the cabinet door, the RH% will drop eventually. ;p

ok. after 8 hrs or so stil no drop den adjust again?
