haha, i know i already poisoned you guys during last TCSS. was targeting to poison iandao.:devil:

:what: Nikon saleperson, it is now official... :bsmilie:

think they're selling grey sets..dats why the low prices

if i'm not mistaken, they only have shop warranty for their camera bodies and lenses.

quote from their site:
"Warranty terms & conditions

All products DD Electronics Pte Ltd sells are brand new and come with warranty 12 months parts and labour except for batteries. If the item you have bought has a manufacturers fault during the first 30 days after purchase we will simply replace it.

As we are a direct importer or parallel importer the responsibility of the warranty belongs fairly with us however many products we do sell come with worldwide warranty provided by the manufacturer so where this worldwide warranty is provided, you can go to the manufacturer directly for service but with any item you need help with you can come directly to us ,we of course are very happy to help you."

really hope my bonus this yr same as last yr lor..!! can set aside 2k to cure BBB virus~

Anyone can sweet talk us into anything...remember... that's just sweet talking... Sales talk to assure you that you can trust them.

The real experience is when you actually deal with them FACE to FACE and transaction actually happened... And by "them" I mean just ANY shop, not just DD Electronics...

before you buy, you are the king. after you buy, it's a different story.

Although the price there is attractive, there's no warranty. Only their shop warranty if IIRC. It was brought up many times before. Peace of mind is always the best IMO

yeah, the saying "buyer beware" still applies, even with warranty given

When I was there I never asked, but did chit-chat about ND110, 10 stops etc... from the slight cringe on their eyebrows (they did do their best to hide it)... gut feeling says no point asking... most likely no stock... Poor fellas, imaging having to talk up a sales about NDs...and then have to end up with...."erm...sorry, no stock at the moment..."

Opportunities like these are far in between, max your photo shoot the best you can! Stock up on SD cards and get a spare battery too! :bsmilie:

have a safe, happy and photo-filled trip bro. do share your photos when you come back.

I don't know how big this back-log of orders for the ND110 is, but if they ramp up production to meet the demand, I would start to be worried.
Having come from production environment before, I know that quality tends to suffer when production rates go up beyond what is manageable...

Wah... you seriously considerng paying 30 bucks more? Sgcamerastore is having MO now you know?

yeah I know abt tt. And I'm not really considering paying 30 bucks more. it's quite expensive. but I'm lucky I'm my own CFO
