wah so serious meh? 3rd generation summore..

the thought of me bringing that camera out..feels so kuku..especially if i'm alone :embrass:

What are you trying to do? Encourage an endemic fungi community? For goodness sake, bring it out for some good clean UV ray exposure lah! :bsmilie:

I never brought out my old SLR (film days), and look what happened to it now... a happy fungi colony, now coming to 3rd generation already!

Of course not lah! I was merely exagerating! I nuked the colony when they reached 2 generation... Luckily Nikon SLR was built tough... so I DIY the cleaning with some swabs and cleaning solution... Still a bit of speck in the focusing screen - can't get rid of it... Those must be the Commando fungi squads... :bsmilie:

Kuku??? Boy... Give your D90 some respect can or not? lolz Some XMMs will head turn when you pass by them...

YOU SERIOUS?!?!? I'm going to bring out my camera even when I walk my dog because of this statement of yours!!

12-24 is ZCA using. 11-16 DD123 using. for me still long ah...

er... haven't yet. is it good?

I think ZCA's Tamron not Nikon, but the range is the same. However I'd think he would still say "Not wide enough".... :bsmilie:

Actually, it would depend on how you use it... When I was at the South bridge road a couple of times... you'd use portrait orientation most of the times and 11 - 14 mm would give it enough "breathing space" on the sides if you want to get the prime buildings into the image... otherwise very tight!...

yea i think ZCA's one is Tamron. Is the difference from 11 to 12 that significant?

Bro... you ready for another round of poisoning? One degree on an UWA... is SERIOUSLY very far in between... Don't test it on the indoors ... go shoot at the esplanade and look through the view finder... remember to collect your jaws after shooting...

Well, for weekends you might have to count me out... Tried shooting the Cathay cinema on Sunday...man... you'll need a 10 stop ND filter or maybe more!! :bsmilie: Talk about weekend crowds...

have not been exposed to the use of filters yet. still a long way to go. how much do these filters cost? Correct me if i'm wrong, but ND filters are used when you want to drag the exposure longer right?

Yes, you got the ND use right... long enough that you can make people literally disappear in your images!...:bsmilie: Or make the water surface as smooth as glass or frosted glass... Waves at the beaches turns to vapour or misty...

It depends on the filter brand (and quality)... Can range from 30 plus per filter to a few hundreds - quality pending of course... Also depends on system used - ring type versus slot-ins...

yeah. how much they cost ah. Cheaper ones like Hoya/ TianYa can get easily. Pricing also depends on how many stops ND filter you looking for. But B=W and Singh Ray, a bit of a different story.

With ND/GND filters you can drag out your exposure time and smooth the waters(just an example)

No-no... don't pull in the GND filters as their purpose is not for this... :nono: Homework for you - do some googling!

AND...it's B+W.... not B=W, not B-W, not B*W, not B/W and surely not BMW! :bsmilie: The last time I mistook the B+W for Black and White... I kena slammed bad bad...
