(35mm f/1..8g dx considered?)
Could u give us more details abt why not well? YN560 is a manual flash, you can hardly go wrong unless you cannot even trigger it from hotshoe.
If the sb-900 is set to ttl, that means it will be firing a series of preflash as part of the ttl sequence. These preflashes may be setting the YN off before the actual picture is taken.
You will need set the YN to mode S2, which is a slave mode which supposedly ignores the ttl preflash.
Don't expect it to work all the time though, optical triggering is not really reliable in general.

Also check ur shutter speed, you might had accidentally went beyond sync speed (1/250?) in which your YN will not be able to keep up.
I wish Nikonians would refrain from using the term Trinity to refer to lenses ...... adopt some other terms instead.![]()

Well... this world means different things put into different context. In religion (God).. in movies (Sexy gal).. and in general (a group of three). Can help me specifically to understand why "Nikonians" cannot use?
Anyway.. other suggestions.. could be the F1.8 Prime Trio? Dynamic F1.8 Trio? Fantastic Three? Cheapo Trio?.. I think moving out of topic liao..
The takes super long save a pic, is not due to memory card?
Cause I had found my SD is happen on supper long save a picture, once I change to CF and no more the issue...
But at that time is the hot weather..![]()
