D80 vs. D200 vs. D70s

seems like no good reason to buy D200 except to wait for d80 by the looks of this thread ...

They both serve different needs/groups of users. You cannot compare them this way.

btw a DSLR is not forever

unlike a SLR :(

my thinking is that every 3-4 years is time to change camera

i dunno about yours,
but mine is more than 15 years old
and still going strong.

Wow... DSLRs haven't come out for that long yet, how you know a D1 cannot last beyond 15 yrs or longer? :dunno:

then nikon should put another column for the comparison model on why each model is suited for which user. by the looks of it, everything is the same except for the more robust menus and quick buttons on d200 which isn't really worth 1k in price difference (if the d80 price is quoted right in this thread)

several differences have been made. one big difference is the sensor. ;)

a lot of diff can be seen from this 10 pages thread...
